The biggest difference between a CNC press brake and a regular press brake is the CNC system. The CNC press brake uses a CNC system to control the bending angle and position, while traditional press brake require manual operation and control. Therefore, CNC press brake have a higher degree of automation and higher bending accuracy.

Compared with traditional manual or semi-automatic press brake, CNC press brake have the following advantages:
High precision: Due to being controlled by computer programs, the bending angle and size can achieve very high precision;
High degree of automation: Automated production can be achieved by simply inputting the correct program, without the need for manual intervention;
High production efficiency: Compared to other methods of bending production, CNC press brake can quickly perform a large amount of production work.

Can the CNC press brake be used as a regular press brake?
The working principle of CNC press brake is different from that of NC press brake, so it cannot completely replace NC press brake. However, CNC press brake can be manually operated and used as regular press brake even without a CNC system. However, due to the relatively high price of CNC press brake, purchasing a CNC press brake may be a waste if only the functions of a regular press brake are needed.

In summary, although there are some similarities between CNC press brake and ordinary press brake, there are also significant differences. If only the functions of a regular press brake are needed, there is no need to choose a CNC press brake. However, if large-scale production, high efficiency, and high-precision production capacity are required, then CNC press brake are a better choice.
